Surrounded by typical Mediterranean nature, the Riva Marina Resort is located in Specchiolla (Carovigno), a small village on the Adriatic coast of Puglia, known for its sandy beaches and crystal-clear water.
From here it is easy to reach many points of interest in the Valle d'Itria and in the Salento region, such as the white city of Ostuni, the iconic Alberobello, the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve and Marine Protected Area, Carovigno, Lecce and Brindisi.

Hotel

The Riva Marina Resort, an elegant All Inclusive hotel, is a charming oasis on the border between Salento and Valle d'Itria, a few steps from the Torre Guaceto Natural Reserve and Protected Marine Area. Surrounded by a typical Apulian landscape, amidst centuries-old olive, almond and carob trees, the resort covers 18 hectares of dry stone walls, lush gardens and buildings with Mediterranean charm. The wide bays and crystal-clear inlets blend with the authentic colours and flavours of Apulia, creating a perfect balance of nature, food and wine, elegance and wellness. Located only 900 metres from the beach, which can be reached by a convenient shuttle service, the resort offers two splendid swimming pools, a wellness centre and numerous sports fields, for an unforgettable stay.

Rooms

The Riva Marina Resort offers 443 elegant and cosy rooms designed for maximum comfort. All accommodations are equipped with air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (equipped on request), safe, equipped balcony or veranda, and private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The Comfort Rooms, suitable for 2 to 6 persons, offer a single room with the possibility of extra beds or bunk beds. The Suites, ideal for families or small groups (minimum 3 paying persons), have two separate rooms: an entrance/living room with two sofa beds and a double bedroom. Suite guests benefit from exclusive services, including a courtesy line plus, first supply of the minibar, two beach towels and bathrobes, as well as a 30% discount on treatments and massages at the SPA. For special needs, Comfort rooms are available on the ground floor, suitable for guests with disabilities, with two bathrooms and a capacity of up to four people.

Wellness Centre

The SPA Wellness Centre within the resort is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. Covering an area of 700 m², it offers a wide range of massages and treatments and is equipped with five massage cabins, a cabin for beauty treatments, a hairdressing salon, a fitness room with treadmills, cyclettes and weights, and a relaxation area with herbal tea corner.
In the water area, there is also a heated pool with oxygen whirlpool, water jets and cervical waterfall, Kneipp path, vascular path, emotional showers, sauna, Turkish bath, Scottish shower.

Wellness Path: € 25 per person, 60 minutes, to be booked and regulated on site, subject to availability.

Beach

Just 500 metres from the resort is the first public beach, while just 900 metres away is the sandy beach equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds that can be booked for the morning or the afternoon directly on site and subject to availability. Umbrellas and sunbeds are also positioned on the large grass carpet near the beach bar. The equipped beach is connected to the resort by two small trains offering a continuous shuttle service.
Guests with disabilities can use the shuttle service to reach the beach area with a walkway to the foreshore and request a job chair (also available at the pool).

Restaurant

The central restaurant, with its four elegant dining rooms Diamante, Rubino, Avorio and Argento, welcomes guests with a rich selection of Italian and international dishes served buffet-style for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with assigned tables. The gastronomic offer is enriched with the ‘Il Pugliese’ restaurant, which celebrates the authentic flavours of the region with buffet dinners upon reservation, and the Beach Restaurant, available for lunch directly on the beach. During the low season, the management can replace the buffet with a refined table service, offering a three-course menu.

If you choose All Inclusive (available from 28/05 to 16/09), your stay includes a welcome drink, full board buffet with themed evenings, selected drinks, snacks and aperitifs, while from 17/09 to 27/05 you can opt for full board or half board, with water and wine included. The resort pays special attention to guests with celiac disease, approved by the Italian Celiac Disease Association, and offers specific products such as bread, pasta and desserts to ensure an inclusive and safe dining experience.

Families

The hotel has family rooms that can accommodate up to 6 people and offers entertainment with mini club and junior club at set times and has a large playground of over 2000 m² where children from 3 years can have fun and make new friends.
The Riva Marina Resort has been awarded the region's 'Puglia loves family' quality seal because it offers its guests free services designed for a comfortable holiday with small children. Upon request at check-in, you can have: changing table, bottle warmer, toilet seat reducer, hygienic basket for nappies, high chair and baby bath tub.
Also available for parents of small children is a well-equipped baby feeding room with suitable fresh and packaged food.

Sport

Guests have free access during the day to the various sports fields: tennis, five-a-side football, volleyball, basketball, streetball and bocce courts (night use is subject to a charge). Also available are table tennis tables, a fitness room adjacent to the wellness centre and, in the pine forest, archery and a gymnastics course.
For lovers of water sports, there is a sailing centre on the beach with wind-surfing, laser pico and catamaran.

Services & Activities

Riva Marina Resort's All Inclusive package guarantees a rich and carefree experience. It includes Wi-Fi, welcome drink with tasting corner for the little ones, full buffet board with theme nights (Apulian, Italian and elegant) and drinks included. Guests can enjoy a light breakfast bar, sweet and savoury snacks, chef's aperitifs, tea time with small pastries, afternoon pizza and late-night gastronomic surprises. Amenities include a baby bottle shop with fresh products, theme evenings such as a fun fair with candyfloss in Nello Land, and a typical Apulian dinner with a folk show. The package also includes discounts on the SPA, entertainment with artistic cast, piano bar, access to sports fields (padel for a fee), and beach service with shuttle bus. A reserved, shaded car park completes the offer, for an uncompromising stay.

All Inclusive does not include: mineral water - beer - wine - soft drinks - spirits and spirits of Italian and foreign brands served in bottles or cans, ice cream and other packaged products.
