La Casa e il Mare 4* is located in the Gulf of Mattinata, on the Gargano, and enjoys an enviable position right in front of the sea. The centre of Mattinata is about 3 km away and the port of Mattinata is 300 metres from the hotel.

In less than an hour you can reach the Gargano National Park, a protected area that includes a rocky coast, marshes, beech woods and valleys full of flowers.

In a short time, from the hotel La Casa e il Mare, you can also reach other beautiful places in the Gargano such as Vieste, about 55m by car (about 38 km), Peschici 1h16 m (about 55 km) and San Giovanni Rotondo, 40 m away. 

The nearest airport is Bari, 144 Km away (1h41 m by car). Brindisi airport is 262 km (2h49m) away.

Hotel 

A charming boutique hotel with essential lines but furnished with taste and accuracy. The black and white used to define rooms and common areas are combined with many elements of Arabic ethnic style. The splendid terrace with swimming pool and sea view is certainly one of the strong points of the La Casa e il Mare hotel, because it allows you to fully enjoy a beautiful panorama.  The 33 rooms of the hotel are comfortable and cozy and offer a balcony or terrace with a sea view or a view to the back of the hotel. The hotel disposed of a lift.

Located in the Gulf of Mattinata, the hotel is directly on the sea and offers a private beach of large smooth pebbles and sometimes rocks, equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds.

In addition to the swimming pool located in the seafront part, guests can enjoy a Jacuzzi with hot water at the back of the hotel.

The pleasant and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel is underlined by background music and musical entertainment at dinner once a week.

Rooms

The 33 rooms of La Casa e il Mare are intimate, cosy, elegant and furnished in a vintage style, in line with the ethnic-Mediterranean architectural style of the structure, with wooden furniture and some modern elements. The rooms are divided into: standard rooms with balcony without sea view, standard rooms with sea view balcony and standard rooms with terrace and sea view. One of the rooms is quadruple and has a balcony without sea view. It is possible to have double beds or twin beds.
All rooms are equipped with a French window.

The rate of the rooms include: continental buffet breakfast; free Wi-Fi access; unattended car park; 1 access to the SPA wellness path per couple.

Beach     

The hotel's private beach is right in front of the hotel, so you won't have to take your car to get there or cross a road. You can reach it via a small staircase from the hotel's swimming pool veranda. The hotel does not provide beach towels.

The stretch of coast where the hotel is located is not sandy but has large smooth pebbles and some rocky parts. On the beach there is a shower for those who want to use it before using the pool coming from the sea.

A few minutes by car there are other beaches worth visiting: Mattinatella beach with pebbles (approx. 10 Km); Pugnochiuso pebble beach (29,4 Km); Baia dei Campi pebble beach (28,8 Km); Portonuovo sandy beach (34,1 Km).

Restaurant

The restaurant of the Hotel La Casa e il Mare offers its guests express cuisine with freshly prepared dishes, to be enjoyed in the beautiful indoor dining room or on the terrace overlooking the sea. The genuineness of the products, purchased daily from carefully selected local suppliers, gives life to excellent traditional Apulian dishes and classic Italian cuisine.

The abundant and genuine breakfast with buffet service offers a selection of sweet and savoury dishes, including local products.

The kitchen also offers dishes for celiacs and vegetarians both for breakfast and lunch and dinner.
