It is located 4 km from the nearest beach, and two minutes from the historic centre of Otranto.

Brindisi Airport is 97 km away, about an hour by car.

Masseria Bandino Country Resort is the result of a careful renovation of a rural building, once a shelter for animals, a typical structure of the Apulian landscape. A family environment with all the comforts of a 4-star hotel where you can enjoy the contact with nature, a short distance from the most beautiful beaches of Salento and the historic centre of Otranto.

There are numerous proposals for those who wish to participate in the Masseria's experiences or simply relax in the garden or by the pool.

Swimming pool

The pool area underwent a complete makeover during 2023. The pool is now equipped with an underwater music system for an immersive experience of total relaxation.

Rooms

A small structure with 20 elegantly designed rooms furnished in a traditional and comfortable style. Masseria Bandino Country Resort adapts to the needs of its guests by offering different types of rooms suitable for both couples and families. All rooms have free Wi-Fi and have a private space, a patio or a small covered terrace equipped with table and chairs. 

Spa

New for 2023 is the brand new Bandino Spa. This is a wellness centre equipped with a Finnish sauna, a rotating bath, a Kneipp path, an emotional shower and a heated indoor pool with whirlpool and hydromassage beds.

Beach

Nearby there are both free beaches and lidos with facilities for adults and children of all ages. The nearest public beach is 4 km away. It is possible to take advantage of the services of two affiliated lidos, which are about 8 km away from the Masseria, in the stretch of coast of one of the most beautiful in Salento, about 10 km of crystal clear sea in the picturesque area of Alimini Lakes.

Restaurant

A rich and fragrant selection of local products in an evocative and relaxing atmosphere delight the palates of our guests.

An evocative setting accompanies the culinary experiences in every season: the dining room in the historic part of the Masseria, under the fascinating star vaults of Lecce stone in the warmth of the fireplaces lit in the cold season, and the open-air garden, among the scents of the Mediterranean scrub and the sea breeze during the warmer periods.

For a tasty awakening, breakfast is a rich buffet with strictly local products, fragrant sweets and cakes prepared on the spot, cold meats and cheeses accompanied by fragrant durum wheat bread, focaccia and the traditional "friselle". 

For lunch, at the moment, it is possible to book tasty cold dishes such as salads, bruschette, toast, fresh burrata and caprese cheese, cold meats and cheeses, fresh fruit and, of course, Salento's friselle, perfect at any time of day. 

At dinner, you can enjoy a selection of different typical dishes, choosing from the fixed menu or à la Carte. A proposal that changes every day and offers traditional dishes, a combination of meat, fish or vegetarian dishes.

The Fixed Menu is available all year round except in July and August. Particular attention is paid to younger guests and those requiring a gluten-free diet.

Families

Masseria Bandino Country Resort is ideal for families looking for tranquillity without giving up a seaside holiday. A familiar and welcoming environment with special attention to the little guests to make their stay pleasant and fun. Children admitted from 6 years of age.

Entertainment for the little ones is just a stone's throw from the central courtyard: the playground has many games in the middle of the lawn, such as a swing, a slide and many others for the children's enjoyment.

Sport

A stone's throw from the masseria, the pine forest is home to the Health and Nature Trail, 19 stations available to sports enthusiasts who want to exercise in the midst of nature. Due to the steep terrain, it is not suitable for the disabled.

Guests can hire mountain bikes free of charge to explore the surrounding area along the typical country roads or reach the town not far from the Masseria, or go trekking in the surrounding areas.

Services and activities

Masseria Bandino Country Resort offers a wide range of relaxation and leisure activities to its guests, the ideal destination for those who want to regenerate in a relaxing environment and enjoy the authenticity of local products prepared in accordance with tradition. 

There is a wide choice for those who simply want to sit by the pool or take part in the experiences offered by the Masseria: a swimming pool surrounded by olive trees, free mountain bikes for a tour of the surrounding area, the Percorso Salute e Natura (Health and Nature Path) for sporting activities in the Masseria's pine forest, massages and relaxation treatments, experiential activities and workshops and, for children, an equipped area in the Playground.  

Alternatively, you can explore the surrounding areas on horseback or by boat, go walking or cycling or take part in food and wine tours to taste wine, olive oil and other typical Apulian products. 

Not far from the Masseria there are the most beautiful beaches of Salento and thanks to the agreements with the "Lido Universo" and the "Kum Beach", which are located in the picturesque area of Alimini Lakes, guests are offered special discounts. 

For those who wish to immerse themselves in nature and get to know the traditions of Salento, there are activities such as trekking, horse riding, boat trips or food and wine tours.

During the months of July and August, a shuttle service to the beaches and to the centre of Otranto is normally available (currently suspended due to anti-Covid-19 regulations).
